Fall in Paris: Where to Take the Best Photos – Instagram Photo Spots

fall outfit, ootd paris, what should i wear today, parisian style

Fall is a quite controversial season: it can be the source of both depressing melancholy and mesmerizing golden beauty. And the same goes for Fall Photography! Paris is the most photogenic city in the world, there is no doubt, but when it comes to gloomy weather it is quite hard for any city to withstand that bland colorless photo-environment. Some parts of Paris in the fall are not that sparkly but there are true gems of Fall Photography you can find in the City of Light. And I am excited to share with you several of my favorite beautiful spots in Paris that I love to photograph in Fall.

What trip to Paris can do without the Eiffel tower? Let me start with two instagrammable photography spots that offer an incredible Eiffel Tower view in fall, and that are not well known even by locals.

Avenue de Camoens

Avenue de Camoens, 75116 Paris, France
Avenue de Camoens, 75116 Paris, France

Avenue de Camoens itself is a very picturesque street with a terrace overlooking the Eiffel Tower. The buildings along the Avenue are all in that famous Parisian Hausmann style that I love so much. The best part is you don’t have to deal with the crowds. It’s definitely one of our favorite locations for photos all year around.

Avenue de New York

Avenue de New York, 75116 Paris, France

Avenue de New York offers another fantastic view of the Eiffel Tower. There are some great shots you can make here when the trees shine in gold! A bit busy, but a beautiful and spacious location for fall pictures with an incredible view.

Place de la Concorde

Place de la Concorde, 75008 Paris, France

I love to photograph here all year round but this location is the most beautiful in the fall. The bad news is that it is quite busy here with a lot of traffic. If you can get a shot without cars in it, more power to you! Please keep in mind that in order to get a more spectacular photo you will need your friend or a photographer to help you out. And please remember to keep your belongings safe and to be careful.

Jardin des Tuileries

It’s one of our favorite locations for photography all year round. Jardin des Tuileries is incredibly rich: a large landscaped area, neatly manicured lawns, a pond with chairs in front of it, and a lot of sculptures. Here you can find numerous locations to make a great shot. My favorite parts are lush alleys that are covered with golden falling leaves.

Tip: Play with the leaves to add more dynamic to your photography!

Place des Vosges

Place des Vosges, 75004 Paris, France

Place des Vosges, originally Place Royale, is the oldest planned square in Paris, prized for its lush lawns studded with elegant fountains and distinctive red-brick mansion houses. Very pleasant location not only to photograph but to chill and relax as well. The place is beloved by locals.

Le Jardin du Luxembourg

Le Jardin du Luxembourg, 75006 Paris, France

One of our favorite instagrammable Parisian locations for photos all year round but especially in the fall. There you can always find blooming flowers and enjoy the combination of stunning architecture and relaxing nature.

Located in the heart of Paris, right in front of Notre Dame de Paris, it is a quite busy place. Also please remember to be polite to the booksellers and ask for permission to photograph them or their property if necessary, they are incredibly kind and welcoming most of the time.
